A unique feature that is followed here is the concept of class library, wherein a set of 50 books is kept in a shelf in the class itself and students can select and take home any of these books for reading and keep it back in the shelf after reading without having to go to library and going through the process of issue and deposit. This helps in promoting their reading habits. Students are able to read, refer and research. The children also learn to take the responsibility of managing the books and to be careful about their possessions. In this manner they are also exposed to the maximum possible number of books. Separate set of books is prescribed for each class.

The games and sports amenities of the school range from courts for gaming like Basket ball, Volleyball, Shuttle, Table Tennis and Cricket. All the students are divided into four Houses and inter- house competitions are held in all the games, both for senior and junior students.

The health of the children is adequately watched over in the hostel. It has a well equipped dispensary under the care of a professional Medical Practitioner. No stone is left unturned when it comes to the physical well being of any child. Also the service of the General and the Super-speciality hospitals, which are located in the vicinity, are extended to the inmates of the hostel whenever necessary.

Guest speakers who have distinguished themselves in various fields are invited to address the students from time to time. Topics related to awareness, career, motivation etc. are taken up. Former students are also invited to address the students for motivating them for life ahead, giving tips on how to face competitive examinations. Students interact with their role models and get enriched by their experience.
