Examinations & Assessment

Each child will be assessed every term for understanding, skills, questioning, thinking and creativity. Parents will receive a full report for their children on each subject.

Apart from the academic course offered, the following areas will be internally assessed and will be part of the curriculum.

  • Work Education
  • Physical & Health Education.
  • Visual & Performing Arts.
  • Value Education.
  • Computer Awareness Programme.
  • Co-Scholastic activities.
  • Life Skills.

Students are trained in socially useful and productive activities like craft work (Paper work, Paper Mache, Clay modeling, Doll making), Textile designing (Fabric Painting, Block Printing, Embroidery) & Consumer education.

A tool used by the teacher to monitor continuously the students’ progress in a non-threatening and supportive environment. This assessment will not restrict only to paper test, but also include quiz, conversation, oral interview, project, assignment, practical etc.

It is the terminal assessment of performance at the end of instruction of each term in the form of a pen paper test.

  • Report Cards are distributed to the parents in their children’s respective class rooms approximately one week after the end of each test / exam.
  • They are given directly to the parents unless being held back due to very poor performance or other disciplinary actions.
  • Reports are to be signed by the parents / guardians and returned to their class teachers within 2 days from the date of receiving. This will create awareness to the parents of their children’s progress.
